Fortune: Magma


Hey,
This marks the fourth game update for Eternower. The update brings back dilemma permanence, separates endless mode from the default one, introduces Magma.

    Magma (new)
        Magma +
            Magma            at 20g
            Damage +1         at 15g
        Speed: 1

        Magma can be seen as a slower branching, more powerful Dread.

    Doom
        Doom+
            Damage    +1 at 10g        (was Damage +1 at 20g)
            Damage    +2 at 15g        (was Damage +1 at 30g)
        Speed:      1 (was 2)
        Damage:   1
        ---------
        Doom now starts as powerful as Dread.

Floors
Eternower now has two floors:

  • First Floor:
    • 15 levels
    • Dilemmas each level
    • Enemy features are only changed through dilemmas
    • Completion of the 15th one yields Victory

First floor focuses on your ability to adapt to the rapidly increasing difficulty through dilemmas.

  • Second Floor: 
    • Endless levels
    • Dread or Magma dilemma every 10 levels
    • Enemy health scales exponentially with each level

Second floor focuses on your ability to create a maze.

Armor
A new dilemma now allows increasing the armor of enemies. Armor reduces incoming enemy damage. For example, to kill an enemy with 1 health and 1 armor in one shot, you need to do 2 damage once or 1.2 damage 5 times.


Other
Most dilemmas now show the direct value change from the previous one.
